Las Vegas is known for gambling and parties, but it secretly has some of the best outdoors activities out there. Hiking in Las Vegas is one of my favorite things to do and makes for a great day time activity.
Gold Butte National Monument is a hidden gem just 2 hours east of Las Vegas. It is remote, rugged and absolutely beautiful.
Did you know that there are hot springs near Las Vegas? Many visitors will come to Vegas for years without ever hiking to one of these amazing hot springs!
Emerald Cove is a famous green cove along Black Canyon and can be reached by kayak or boat. Although you may be targeted to do a tour, kayaking Emerald Cove without a tour is also a great option
