Before we went to Australia, we decided that our criteria were good beaches, fun hikes, and yummy cafes. I probably spent more than 30 hours researching because there is just so much information online! In the end we decided to stick to NSW and Queensland and save the rest of Australia for another trip.
We spent 4 days around the Great Barrier Reef and had such a fun time exploring and hanging around town. Most tours leave from Cairns or Port Douglas, but which town is right for you?
Cradle Mountain is a beautiful reason to visit Tasmania. Fairly remote with great hikes and wildlife, it was definitely a highlight of our trip
Everglades National Park is super accessible from Miami. It’s full of wildlife & makes for a good day trip, although I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to visit it.
